Tour Guide System Rental

A tour guide system is a portable wireless audio kit that lets one speaker be heard clearly by a moving group. The guide wears a belt-pack transmitter with a microphone, and every participant carries a pocket receiver with an earphone. Because the audio travels by radio rather than through the air, the group can spread out, stay quiet, and still hear every word. In Turkey the same product is almost always called an infoport system.

There is no difference. Infoport is a brand-derived name that became the generic term in the Turkish market, while tour guide system is the international name for the same equipment. Both describe a transmitter plus wireless receivers used by a group on the move. We rent the same systems under either name.

They are used anywhere a group has to listen while walking or standing in a noisy space: factory and plant tours, technical site visits, construction and infrastructure inspections, museum and heritage tours, hospital accreditation walkthroughs, trade fair delegations, field training, and audit visits. They are also the standard tool for whispered interpretation when there is no room for a booth.

There is no technical limit on the number of receivers tuned to one channel — a single transmitter can serve a group of 10 or 500 equally well, because the receivers only listen. In practice the group size is limited by how many receivers you rent and by how well the guide can manage the group. For groups over about 40 people we usually recommend splitting into sub-groups on separate channels.

Modern digital systems cover roughly 100 metres in open line of sight. Range drops inside buildings with thick concrete walls, steel structures or heavy machinery, which is normal and expected. For large plants we plan the route in advance and, where needed, use a second transmitter so the group never walks out of coverage.

Yes, and this is one of its most common uses. In whispered interpretation the interpreter speaks quietly into the transmitter microphone while walking with the group, and listeners follow on their receivers. For multilingual tours we assign one channel per language, so participants simply select their channel. It is the practical alternative to a booth when the audience is moving.

Multi-channel systems support up to 32 channels, which means up to 32 simultaneous languages or sub-groups in the same venue without interference. Each interpreter transmits on a dedicated channel and each listener selects the channel they need on the receiver.

A fully charged professional receiver or transmitter runs for a full working day — typically around 20 hours of continuous use. Every rental ships with charging cases so the whole set is recharged overnight, and for multi-day programmes we supply spare packs.

Yes. All receivers and earphones are cleaned and disinfected between every rental. For events where sets are shared between sessions we can supply single-use earphone covers or individually packed disposable earphones on request.

A standard rental includes the belt-pack transmitter with a lapel or headset microphone, the requested number of receivers with earphones, charging cases for the full set, transport cases, and spare batteries. Delivery, a briefing for the guide, and technical support are included; an on-site technician can be added for large or complex programmes.

Pricing is driven by the number of receivers, the number of days, the number of channels or languages, and the location. For a standard group, one week is comfortable. Book two to four weeks ahead for large receiver counts, multilingual programmes, peak fair and congress season, or anything outside the major cities, since receiver stock is the constraint rather than the transmitter.

Yes. We ship tour guide systems anywhere in Turkey, and for large or multilingual programmes a technician travels with the equipment to set it up and brief the guides. Delivery outside our main service cities is quoted with the equipment.
